Pro Baseball: Jameson Lee Taillon, Altoona Curve

Jameson Lee Taillon pitched six innings, striking out seven and allowing no earned runs Thursday in the Altoona Curve's 7-0 loss at the Richmond Flying Squirrels. Taillon also went 0 for 2 in the game. Taillon graduated from The Woodlands High School.

Taillon was the second overall player taken in the 2010 Major League Baseball draft when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He was a 2010 graduate of The Woodlands where he was a first-team high school all-American pitcher as a senior in 2010. Taillon was born Nov. 18, 1991 in The Woodlands. Read more...
