Eibner is a 2007 graduate of The Woodlands and played three seasons of college baseball at Arkansas before being drafted by the Kansas City Royals in the 2nd round (54th overall) of the 2010 Major League Baseball draft. Jameson Lee Taillon pitched two innings, striking out four and allowing three earned runs Monday in the West Virginia Power's 10-6 loss to the Greensboro Grasshoppers. Taillon graduated from The Woodlands High School.

Taillon was the second overall player taken in the 2010 Major League Baseball draft when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Pirates. David Macias went 0 for 2, scored a run and was walked three times in the Daytona Cubs's 4-3 loss to the Jupiter Hammerheads on Monday. Macias graduated from The Woodlands High School.

Macias is a 2004 graduate of The Woodlands before going on to play four seasons (2005 to 2008) of Division I baseball at Vanderbilt University. Macias posted a career .325 batting average with 10 homers and 91 RBIs. He was drafted the Chicago Cubs in the 19th round (581st overall) of the 2008 Major League Baseball draft. Through the 2010 season, Macias appeared in 274 career minor league games for the Cubs' farm teams making it as high as Double-A Tennessee of the Southern League. Lauren Ashley Riess was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a misdemeanor charge of theft between $50 and $500, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. Riess is a 22 year old white female who lives at 222 S. Cochrans Cir in The Woodlands. Read more...
