The eighth annual Spring Home & Garden Show will be held Mar. 27-28 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center. An assortment of gardening experts and exhibitors will be on-hand to give tips on growing great gardens and to showcase the latest in landscaping, entertaining, and interior and outdoor design.

The show, which opens Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and continues on Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., will offer relevant information on topics ranging from cooking, organizing, and outdoor living to identity theft, green themes, and kitchen and bath trends. Admission for both days is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors, and free for children 12 and under.

Speakers scheduled to present include Karen Bussen, author of the “Simple Stunning” series of entertaining books; Clive Berkman, Houston-area chef and restaurateur; Peggy McGowen, ASID, CMKBD (Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Design), founder of Houston-based Kitchen & Bath Concepts; Ellen Delap, professional organizer and owner of Professional-Organizer.com; Jason McKenzie, habitat gardening expert; Randy Lemmon, GardenLine radio show host; LaVerne Williams, Houston’s leading “Green” architect; and Kathy Huber, Chronicle gardening writer, who will offer one-on-one Q & A sessions in the “Ask-the-Expert Booth”.

A variety of gardening exhibitors will showcase new products and ideas for the home and garden, including King Ranch Turf Grass, Living Earth Mulch, Nature’s Way Resources, Scott’s Lawn Service, American Tree Farms, Big Tex Trees, Southeast Texas Trees, and The Pineywoods Nursery.
