This release comes from Interfaith of The Woodlands:
A fundraising luncheon co-hosted by Judé Compofelice and Nelda Luce Blair at AVIA The Woodlands Hotel, a new Market Street Boutique Hotel, was held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 to benefit Interfaith of The Woodlands. Over $12,000 was raised at the event and all proceeds from the sold-out luncheon will be used to enlarge the Interfaith Food Pantry.
“Interfaith is so grateful for Interfaith supporters Judé Compofelice and Nelda Luce Blair co-hosting the event,” said Dr. Ann Snyder, President and CEO of Interfaith of The Woodlands. “The funds raised will help us to serve more people with perishable and non perishable food.”
The AVIA Hotel and General Manager David Brown generously underwrote the cost of the entire event.
Market Street neighbor, Charming Charlie, an accessory boutique retail store, donated gift bags to all guests and provided a fashion and accessory show for attendees. Store manager Catherine Wyeth coordinated Charming Charlie’s contribution. Charming Charlie’s District Manager John Kirkpatrick was a guest at the luncheon.
In addition, several other Market Street retailers contributed additional gift items for guests.
