Board certified foot surgeon Dr. Nora Zoe Ramos-Carthew of Neville & Associates will step into Shoecolate/Foot Solutions, the concept fashion shoe store in The Woodlands, to present a special talk on Thursday, March 25th from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Shoecolate/Foot Solutions is located at 1590 Lake Woodlands Drive in the Pinecroft Shopping Center, between Best Buy and Ulta in The Woodlands.

Dr. Ramos-Carthew, DPM, FACFAS, FAPWCA, will discuss common as well as more complicated painful foot issues the many people struggle with, and the importance of the proper foundation of shoe support.

“We are delighted to host Dr. Ramos-Carthew at our store,” said Celeste Novak, owner of Shoecolate. “This event is a perfect fit as we are one of the only stores in the area to have our own European master shoemaker on staff to custom fit and facilitate orthopedic inserts. Dr. Ramos-Carthew’s talk will certainly complement our knowledge and expertise that we offer our customers, and we look forward to hosting this special event for the community.”

Dr. Ramos-Carthew is a graduate of Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. She is board certified in foot surgery by ABPS, and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well as the American Professional Wound Care Association. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and became the medical director of the Podiatry Section of the Surgery Department at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Ramos-Carthew's areas of special interest include sports medicine, gait analysis, pediatric care, wound care, custom orthotics, and corrective and reconstructive surgery.
