Hop on over to the many “egg”-citing events going on in The Woodlands in anticipation of the cotton-tailed cutie’s arrival. Check out the list below for some “hare”-raising fun, courtesy of The Woodlands Township Parks & Recreation Department:
Funny Bunny Story Time
March 24 & April 1
9:30 a.m.
Waterway Square
Read a P.J. Funnybunny book, create a funny bunny craft and go on a scavenger hunt. Open to ages 4-6. Fee is $15 for first child, and $7 per additional sibling.
Easter Puppy Bone Hunt
March 30
6 p.m.
Harper’s Landing Dog Park
Bring your best friends to the dog park for a special bone hunt, a craft, and a photo with the Easter Bunny. Space is limited and the fee is $10 per dog in advance, or $15 per dog the day of event.
Fun with the Easter Bunny
March 31
10 a.m.
Terramont Park
Fun activities, an egg hunt, snacks, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Open to all ages. Fee is $15 for first child, and $7 per additional sibling.
Water Bunnies
March 29
10 a.m.
Waterway Square
Lots of Easter fun, including an egg hunt and an Easter craft, as well as photos with the Easter Bunny. Egg hunt begins promptly at 10 a.m. Open to ages 1-5. Fee is $15 for first child, and $7 per additional sibling.
Evening with the Easter Bunny
March 30
6 p.m.
Waterway Square
Celebrate Easter in style with an egg hunt, crafts, music, and games. Bring a camera to take photos with the Easter Bunny by the fountains. Egg hunt begins promptly at 6:15 p.m. Fee is $15 for first child, and $7 per additional sibling.
The Great Egg Pursuit
April 1
5 p.m.
The Lodge at Rob Fleming Park
There will be 2,000 eggs hidden and stuffed with Easter goodies, plus prizes awarded for “special” eggs found. All ages allowed, but recommended for those 4 and older. Fee is $7 per child in advance, and $10 per child on the day of event.
Rabbit Race
April 3
12 p.m.
Terramont Park
Bunny sack pursuit, egg relays, jelly bean toss, and cool crafts. The Easter Bunny might even show up! Open to ages 6-10. Fee is $15 for first child, and $7 per additional sibling.
Limited space and pre-registration is available for any of the above events. Limited walk-up participants may be accepted, but pre-registration is recommended and can be done through the Parks & Recreation Department by visiting www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov, or calling 281-210-3900.
