    Candidates file for Shenandoah election

    There are some new faces and some old faces running for Mayor and City Council in Shenandoah in May.

    Mayor Garry B. Watts will face two challengers for his seat in the May 8 election, including
    Council Members Ken Smith and Ron Hyde.

    Gary Henson, who ran for a council position last year, and former councilwoman Becky Altemus will vie for position 1 on city council.

    Incumbent Councilman Jason Frazer of position 5 will face former council member Randy Doyle.
    Early voting begins on April 26 and election day is scheduled for May 8.
