It's winter, people. Put away the flip-flops

    flipflop2.jpg

These are not for wear in 27 degree weather. You make me cold, people.

Went to the Market Street H-E-B and saw a couple people wearing flip-flops on their very cold-looking toes.

These were grown women, not teenaged girls.

Teenaged grils are superhuman and flooded with all those fresh hormones, and they can wear Daisy Dukes and flip-flops all year long nonchalantly, without their legs being all goosepimply. I am used to them.

I am talking about normal people from the ankles up, some of whom are wearing down jackets with their flip-flops.

It was cold in the H-E-B and very cold outside and I cannot understand how people can do this?

Do they have no feeling in their feet anymore or did they run out of their shoe allowance in August?

Come on, now, people. Slip on a pair of trainers, boots, bunny slippers even.

It is just wrong to wear flip-flops in January when it is below freezing.

At least keep them tucked away and covered until April, huh?
